We got like 4" on Saturday. You would have thought the world had ended. I'm still not sure what use milk and bread are in a "snowstorm", but apparently it's what everyone needs... Now there's only a sad little nubbin of the snowman the neighbor kids built left out in the yard...
Congratulations - your lower back won't thank you, but I know how satisfying it can be just to get connected physically back to the rest of the road grid. I was very miffed that when I went to college and spent three winters in the same place I grew up, it barely snowed at all. And someone else was doing the shoveling! Since then, it's been back with a vengeance, but I haven't. Got to shovel out my aunt and uncle's place near Chicago over new year's, though, for old time's sake. I miss snow, I don't miss boots and shoveling.

Dude, I'm shivering just looking at that. But, lovely photos for all that...
I'm waiting for you to come and make a guess at my movie quote quiz...
You dug all that out on your own? I'm impressed, but Zoe wont believe you, you know what she's like!
Debi - on my way ;)
John - I did. Although if you want to see some *really* impressive snow-digging pics, check out Dawn's blog from last winter:

Now *that's* some shovelin'.
"I am shovel queen. Hear me roar."
In pain.
We're getting more tomorrow.
Oh, crumbs.

C'mon, big guy. It's almost spring. Don't whine. You could have waited for it all to melt. No one would have missed you.
