Epilogue

Now that I've (finally) finished reading the article referred to in this post about Shakespeare, I thought it was worth mentioning the authors's final remark:

There are perhaps other questions in history or the humanities that may benefit from proctologic examination.

I leave it open to suggestion as to what these questions might be.

Pesonally, I would find the whole thing a regal PITA.

It's Shakespeare's birthday today. Had he survived, he would be 445 years old today.
Actually, his DOB is not known, except that he baptized on 4/26/1564.
I think it was a cunning plot, today is also St. George's Day, when all English people wave their red cross flag. Only those that know the date, you understand. The Irish have their St. Patrick's Day (March 17th and he was Welsh), we Welsh have St. David's Day - March 1st. The English have no idea which flag to show either.
Queenie had her birthday two days back.
Happy birthday Will. May your Hamlets never get soggy.

To am or to are. That is the ask.
