Ah well, we can all live in Rik's fantasy world can't we?
Total guesswork on the photography... I must have taken at least 20 shots, madly twiddling knobs on the camera. Halfway through I realized that I was getting wicked reflections from the window, so rushed outside and took the rest. 80% or so of them got deleted, and the remaining four you see on Flickr (and here).
Ta for the compliments, guys.

Cheers, R'pus, from that there London! I've been here less than a week and have already taken about 400 photos! None so lovely as yours, of course, but I'm hoping that quantity will make up for quality. I'll put the good ones up when I get back stateside. Happy New Year!

I checked them out, great photos. Makes me want to give sunset pics a try.
AND? It matches your blog beautifully.
Excellent photos. And not an easy subject. Tricky lighting.
I prefer sunrise myself. *wink, wink, nod, nod, knowhatimean knowhatimean...*
R'pus: What I think Dawn is trying to say is "Get your coat, you've pulled."
